OMI Industries Acquires Houston-Based Equipment Firm
OMI Industries [OMI] has acquired Environmental Control Systems & Products [ECS&P] a Houston-based equipment company. They will now be known as OMI Industries.
ECS&P has had a reciprocal relationship with OMI for the past 15 years. OMI has contracted both equipment and consultation services for various projects from ECS&P.
OMI’s Managing Director, Philip M. Coffey states, "Brian McLaughlin, owner of ECS&P will remain with OMI to head-up our Asphalt sales division - a growing part of our business. Plus we have retained ECS&P's staff in order to provide comprehensive customer service."
OMI Industries is a privately-held corporation founded in 1989 comprised of industrial, commercial, and consumer divisions. Its international corporate headquarters are in the greater Chicagoland-area at 18-6 E. Dundee Road, Suite 101 in Barrington, Ill., 60010. OMI has manufacturing, warehousing and a research and development facility is South Houston, Texas; Rising Sun, Indiana and Ventura, California, respectively.
